Hello, I’m Jake! A Vancouver-based Product Designer.  I build simple and scalable digital products that solve complex problems using empathy and elbow grease.

Over the last 9 years, I’ve worked with Canadian tech companies across a broad range of industries like mental health, Finance, HR, and Events. Along with my freelance work, this has allowed me to work with organizations like Microsoft, IBM, SXSW, and Lululemon.

My expertise is in helping businesses create scalable and configurable digital products that reduce friction in people’s lives, and design systems that enable teams to deliver work faster. I've worked extensively within an agile environment (SAFe and Kanban) as part of a cross-functional team, and have worked closely with stakeholders to translate business problems into design solutions. I also have experience leading and mentoring a small team of designers. I believe in finding simple solutions to complex problems using design and data-driven principles whenever possible.
